View your current stock
The inventory overview shows what is in stock per product and per storage location, updated the moment anyone registers a movement. You can search by product ID or name, open a product to see how it is spread across locations, and share the overview with a colleague.
Press the inventory button in the main menu to see an overview of the current stock.
Click on a product to see the inventory per location. Click on a location to see the inventory on that location. Each product is identified by a unique Product ID.
What the inventory overview shows
The inventory overview is the live picture of everything your warehouse holds. Each line shows a product, the quantity currently in stock, and the storage locations that quantity is spread across. The same figure is what the app uses when you register an outbound movement, so what you see here is exactly what your team can pick from. There is no separate reporting run and no overnight batch: the moment a colleague books an inbound delivery on the other side of the building, the number in front of you changes.
Stock per product and per location
You can approach the overview from two directions. Tap a product to see every location that holds it, which is what you need when you are picking an order or checking whether it is worth consolidating a part-used pallet. Tap a location to see everything stored there, which is what you need when you are counting a shelf or clearing a bay. Both views come from the same underlying data, so they can never disagree with each other.
Keeping the overview trustworthy
An inventory overview is only as good as the discipline behind it. Every inbound, outbound and move registration updates it automatically, so the figures stay right as long as movements are booked as they happen. For the gap that always creeps in over time, use counting: verify a few locations regularly and correct what you find. Warehouses that count a small number of locations every week keep their accuracy high without ever closing for a full stocktake.
Finding a product quickly
The overview searches on both the product ID and the name, so a scanned barcode and a half-remembered description lead to the same place. Scanning is the fastest route when you have the item in your hand; typing part of the name is better when you are trying to work out whether you stock something at all. From a product you can open the list of locations it sits in, which is the answer to the question people usually actually have.
Sharing the overview
The stock overview can be shared with a colleague straight from the app, which matters more than it sounds. Most of the time somebody asks do we still have any, and the useful reply is the current figure rather than a screenshot from last week. Because every device works on the same stock, what they receive is what the warehouse looks like at that moment, not a copy that starts ageing the second it is sent.
